============================

This directory contains the StringJViewer Java 6 Compiler API
and BCEL example:

It consists of:
     StringJViewer.java, StringJFO.java,
     ByteJavaFileManager.java, ByteArrayJFO.java,
     ByteClassLoader.java.

There are two batch files to simplify the compilation and
execution of the example:

   jcbel.bat // for compilation
     - it assumes that bcel-5.2.jar is in d:\bcel-5.2\
     - Java 6 must be installed

   bcel.bat // for execution
     - it assumes that bcel-5.2.jar is in d:\bcel-5.2\
     - it assumes that tools.jar is in c:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_01\lib\

----------------------------
Downloading BCEL

BCEL isn't part of Java's standard distribution, and must be obtained from the
Apache Jakarta site at http://jakarta.apache.org/bcel/.

I downloaded the zipped binary for version 5.2, and unzipped it to a d:\bcel-5.2\

----------------------------
Compilation:

  > jcbcel *.java

----------------------------
Execution:

  > bcel StringJViewer

----------------------------
For More BCEL Output:

Uncomment the call to viewMethods() in viewClass() in
StringJViewer.java, recompile and run.
